June Update

WOW...this is NOT easy.

The Mashie is now in its 6th month of planning and development. The basics alone - incorporating, bank accounts, EINs, funding, budget, vendors, sourcing materials, finding a space, the sign, the renovations, permits, the build out, the website...it's insane!

On top of all that, there's the good stuff. The details, the design, the functionality, the technology, the flow and use of the space, and most of all, the members! The ones that will really make the Mashie what it is a few years from now.

The ones that we're working this hard for.

What keeps us motivated is simply knowing that in a few months from now, we'll all finally have a place we can go, no matter the time of day or weather, to hit some balls, hang out, and get some meaningful reps in.

I can't WAIT to practice every day without sweating through my grips or freezing my ass off. Without scuffing up my club faces with busted, sandy balls that fly like wiffle balls. Without paying $8,000 a year and still not getting data and video of every swing I make!

While the future does seem a little bleak with all that is going on in our country and the world - the future of getting better at golf, quickly, and for a 1/4th of the cost is extremely bright and just a few months away.
